kiba-dock?

I saw the Ubuntu+Beryl+Kiba-Dock demo on You Tube.

I can't find it anywhere in the repos and there are no posts for it in the forums.

If somone knows, can they please tell me how I can get it for my Arch install?

Re: kiba-dock?

You could just use the PKGBUILD wink

Thanks!  I didn't think of looking in the AUR. I'm such a n00b.

Re: kiba-dock?

Err.  How to I get it to work?

I downloaded the tarball.
I copied it to /var/abs/local.
I unpacked it.
I cd'd into the directory.
I instructed makepkg PGKBUILD.
I cleared up the dependencies.
I instructed makepkg PKGBUILD again.
I ran pacman -U ...
It seemed to install without any errors.
But how do I get it going?

Do I need Gnome or will it work in KDE?  I don't have Gnome installed as I work from KDE.

Re: kiba-dock?

Run `populate-dock.sh' to populate it with some apps and then just run it: `kiba-dock'...

Re: kiba-dock?

Thanks.
What I get is pretty crap.
I have these icons with a blue diagonal strip background (half alpha, half blue diagonal).
Is this normal or do I need to do further configuration?

Re: kiba-dock?

You can run
gset-kiba
in order to configure kiba-dock

Re: kiba-dock?

Yeah, thanks.  I tried it but the background is still a shite black/failed-alpha + blue diagonal.
Maybe it's the nVidia binary driver I'm running.  I noticed that occasionally some colours have gone a bit crazy since I upgraded to the 2.6.19 kernel and I installed the 1.0.9631 nVidia driver from extra.
