My battery on a brand new laptop is draining quickly. I am using i3-1115G4 which has integrated graphics and 2 cores. I am using i3 wm. Are there things I can do to protect my battery?
I did: disabled certain things from bios (fingerprint reader, web cam, mic, etc) and I am thinking to use a power manager.
Which do you recommend? tlp or power profile daemon?
Also, is there anything else I can do to extend battery life?
Thank you!

tlp, once configured, is smart by default: you don't touch it at all, and it does the right thing when you go on battery.
