Weird code font on browser and Discord.

Hey everyone. I've recently just installed Arch Linux with XFCE, now when I launch something related to Chromium, the code font is really weird. GitHub, Discord code embeds, etc, have a very thin looking font. So my question is, how can I change it? I've tried using the "Appearance"  part in the XFCE settings, and changed the Monospace font to my preferred font, but no joy.

OS: Arch Linux
DE: XFCE
Browser: Brave Browser

Re: Weird code font on browser and Discord.

You'll have to configure the monospace font in the browser.
Github then prefers "SF Mono", "Menlo", "Consolas" , "Liberation Mono" and then your system monospace.

You're defaulting to some terrible monospace font which has an O-like 0 …

fc-match -s monospace
