Hello, everyone. I am new to Linux and basically tech stuff. I have a question that what if we install the already-installed package using pacman again? Will it take more space? Do I run into space issues? Please excuse my bad English and dumb question. I can't find the answer anywhere on the internet. Thank you.

Packages are archives. When you install a package it gets extracted to your filesystem. A new installation will just extract these files again, replacing the previous installed ones. If the package has the exact same version and was still cached on your device, no additional space should be required.

Thank you so much. And What if it's different in version?

Then the old version is removed right before the new one is installed.
