[solved] installing ttf fonts

I want to install the libertine ttf fonts. Both putting the *.ttf files into either ~/.local/share/fonts and /usr/local/share/fonts and calling $/# fc-cache did not work: xelatex is not recongizing them.

I guess I have to create some config file?
