Hi,
AMD RX 550X graphics card.
I first installed the OpenCL and OpenGL drivers: in my case respectively opencl-amd and amdgpu-pro-libgl.
I added multilib in /etc/pacmand.conf and then installed the lib32-zlib and lib32-libpng12 packages which are required by davinci-resolve.
Then I installed davinci-resolve.
I run davinci-resolve with a terminal and it works fine.
❯ progl /opt/resolve/bin/resolve

However, if I run DaVinci with KDE's application launcher, it freezes on Fairlight's loading view.
Does anyone have a solution to fix this problem?

pacman -Ql davinci-resolve | grep desktop
That will show the .desktop files provided by DR that are used by KDE launcher to start DR .
copy the one you want to use to ~/.local/share/applications/ and edit it to use the progl command .
See https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/Desktop_entries for more info .
Disliking systemd intensely, but not satisfied with alternatives so focusing on taming systemd.
