USB6_port3 cannot enable, maybe the cable is bad

hello all,

installing arch on a new system build, using the august iso file. created a usb boot drive, and when I boot with it, the usb6_port3 cannot connect error message keeps spamming the console. from what I can tell with the mobo manual (asrock x570 phantom gaming mobo), all ports work, though it appears to be a device on one of the ports. even though arch is saying usb6-port3, my mobo manual lists it as usb3-port3 .

I've seen other  posts, but couldn't find a resolution. any ideas what I could look at?

cheers,

--nixit

EDIT... just unplugged all usb devices except install drive, error is no longer happening. I'll get arch installed via ssh and deal with the message after install.
