Discussion regarding updating Opencascade to latest stable 7.6.3 ?

The opencascade package has been stalled since Feb of this year (2022). I'd like to know where discussions are being held (and if I can be privy to them) regarding issues with updating.

The 2 maintainers are
Kyle Keen
George Rawlinson

Thank in advance!

Re: Discussion regarding updating Opencascade to latest stable 7.6.3 ?

Don't know if there has been discussion since then, but it may help to check why opencascade package is still at 7.5.3 .

Look at https://github.com/archlinux/svntogit-c … cade/trunk

On 01/01/2022 opencascade was updated to 7.6.0 , 10 days later on 11/01/2022 it was reverted to 7.5.3 .

* Switch source to git commit/tag from tarball.
* Fix FS#64849, FS#69472 & FS#72177.

Check those 4 bug reports to determine why it was reverted.

Disliking systemd intensely, but not satisfied with alternatives so focusing on taming systemd.
