Cannot boot system from external drive

Hello.
I have installed Arch on my external SSD drive through VirtualBox. In the installation process I have chosen the grub loader.
The problem is that I cannot start the system from this external drive on my laptop which has UEFI. When I go to UEFI there is no boot options in boot section. I have done several things. The secure boot is disabled, SATA controllers are set to ACHI.
And I know that I have installed Arch properly because I can boot the system on my another laptop with BIOS. On this laptop I don't have any problem.
What can be an issue with my laptop on UEFI? And how can I fix this?

Re: Cannot boot system from external drive

There's a wiki page for installing Arch on a removable drive.

How did you install grub, exactly?

do you mean that the install was not done manually but with archinstall?

either way, the wiki explains that you need to do some extra work for both BIOS and UEFI to work
