Hi!
Since the update to Linux 5.19, I'm experiencing lags. Especially when switching between windows in i3 and typing in alacritty. It usually gets worse over time and froze my laptop 2 times already. Going back to linux-lts fixes it. But of course especially with such new hardware it would be nice to use the latest kernel.
I'm on a ThinkPad X1 Carbon sort of like this one: https://www.lenovo.com/us/en/p/laptops/ … 21cb000bus
Using i3, no compositor. Xorg config only relating to input.
Anyone else experiencing these issues?

Hey, not sure if anyone else is seeing this, but I'm getting similar issues with a Framework laptop I recently upgraded to the i7-1280P cpu. I'm on openbox with picom basically running the old Crunchbang setup. Also goes away for me on linux-lts. I also tried upgrading to testing, kernel 6.0 and I'm still getting the issue there.

Thank you Seth, I seem to have fixed mine with the
i915.enable_psr=0
kernel parameter trick linked off the first topic. Thank you!

Great.
Please always remember to mark resolved threads by editing your initial posts subject - so others will know that there's no task left, but maybe a solution to find.
Thanks.

I would, except unfortunately, I'm not the OP. Hopefully they check the thread, see this and it works for them as well.
