[SOLVE] Is it possible to update customly created PKGBUILDs using yay?

For example, I make my own PKGBUILD that pulls straight from the GitHub repos and installs the package. Can yay handle updates for this custom -git package that isn't in the AUR? When I run yay -Syu --devel, ir shows that my custom package is a 'missing AUR package.'
Is it possible to handle these updates using yay?

Issue solved, I just had to update the development package database using yay -Y --gendb.
