Dedicated GPU 0% usage, everything is running off my CPU
nvtop is showing 0% GPU usage on my GTX 1050ti, watching youtube shows my CPU usage at 70-80%
I am trying to figure out optimus configuration so maybe I have to configure something with that?
Specs:
Archcraft: Openbox
Dell Inspiron 15 7000 Gaming
Intel i5-7300HQ
Nvidia Geforce 1050ti Mobile
Intel HD Graphics 630

is probably just down to "browser hw acceleration support sucks, badly". The specific browser will matter.
Try youtube-viewer or mpv + yt-dlp to get an idea whether HW accelerated playback works in principle and also see https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/Hardwa … celeration

Is there a way to set applications to use my gpu? especially ones run under wine?
I am used to windows graphics settings and nvidia control panel but that doesn't really exist here..?

nvidia-smi, if your GPU supports that feature.
For wine in particular you'll nee the lib32 version of nvidia-utils.
