I'm guessing an issue with your pacman.conf.  Can you post a copy?

here is a copy of my pacman.conf but there are several pacman.conf on my computer. This one was in /etc

Re: [SOLVED] error: could not register '' database (wrong or NULL argument

Using code tags keeps formatting.

The errors are all due to whatever is at the bottom of your pacman.conf

[]
Include = /etc/pacman.d/mirrorlist-arch

No idea what this is and where it came from.

Please remember to mark your thread as solved by editing the first post and amending the topic title. Also, in the future, please use code tags around terminal output/config files.
