I updated grub to 2:2.06.r322.gd9b4638c5-3 and ran both grub-install and grub-mkconfig commands, as recommended.
Then, I now have the error on the GRUB boot screen, before the countdown begins for booting Arch:
error: can’t find command ‘fwsetup’
The booting process works fine and I have no other issue. I do not understand why this message gets displayed since the GRUB installed on MBR is on par with the GRUB configuration file.
I run SeaBIOS with MBR and do not use, neither have configured, UEFI.

You are not alone. I have a similar set-up--a Chromebook with Seabios, Grub, and MBR with no uefi. I know that fwsetup was involved in the recent problems others had with GRUB, but like you I just get the error message and everything boots fine.

With the latest GRUB package update (2.06.r403.g7259d55ff-1), and after having run grub-install and grub-mkconfig again, the error message disappeared.
