archlinux-keyring-202208310-any.pkg.tar.zst is corrupted

I searched through the forum and found many people throughout history having invalid or corrupted package because of PGP signature, and usually updating archlinux-keyring was the solution. However, I think I'm hitting something a bit non-typical for this issue. This is for a new install using a stock/clean just downloaded ISO (current release dated 2022.08.05 from the download page). I was able to use the same iso a week ago with no issues, but I redownloaded it today just in case it got corrupted and same issue. From a clean boot to the clean ISO, if I run "archinstall" it fails on line 8 which I think it is saying is "pacman -Sy --noconfirm archlinux-keyring". If I run "pacman -Sy" the databases seem to sync just fine.

However if I manually run "pacman -Sy archlinux-keyring" it grabs archlinux-keyring-202208310-1-any and then says:
error: archlinux-keyring: signature from "Christian Hesse (Arch Linux Package Signing) <*****@*****.de> is unknown trust
followed by the invalid or corrupted package (PGP signature)

I'm doing this through QEMU/KVM Virtual Machine Manager and can't easily copy and paste from it. This is my first foray into Arch, so don't know much of anything, but it seems to me that this is would be a blocker for all new installs until a new archlinux-keyring is signed with a known key to the 2022.08.05 iso or a new iso be made that knows about the current signing keys.

Wait for a bit before running it. There's an issue that's making the keyring take some time get set up.
