Zoom share screen for wayland?

Is anyone running wayland and managed to get zoom sharescreen to work?  I am running the following kernel  application versions:

5.19.6-arch1-1

wayland version 1.21.0-1

sway version 1.7

zoom 5.11.3-1

When I try to  sharescreen zoom tells me that it supports wayland for arch, but I am surprised why it doesn't work because I was under the impression that everything im running is up-to-date!

You need xdg-desktop-portal-wlr, specifically a patched version: https://github.com/emersion/xdg-desktop … issues/226

I'm still trying to get a handle on proper package management. To implement the fix above I would have to make the package from the github repository posted above? When I query pacman it tells me I have xdg-desktop-portal-wlr 0.6.0-1. If I replaced my current version with that one, then whenever I used pacman to do updates it would just get overwritten with the newer version, correct?  Sorry if this is a dumb question, I kind of jumped into the deep-end with arch, so I still have a lot of knowledge gaps, but I have also learned so much!

For anyone reading this that is just trying to get a functional zoom working on an arch wayland set-up, the browser extension works flawlessly!
