New attempt:
If have an application (yukon) that can record videos of Opengl applications. To use it, I have to start it like this:
yukon glxgears
..if I then press F8 (default key) in GLXGears (with the GLXGears-Windows focussed), the recordings starts. If I press it again, it stops. So far it's working fine.
Now I want to record something from another app (World of Warcraft), but if I press F8 in the game, nothing happens. WoW itself doesn't use the F8-Key.
This used to work some months ago under Gnome - nowadays I'm using fluxbox and it doesn't work anymore. With glxgears it does, with wow it doesn't.
So I'm guessing, that the problem has to do with my Windows-Manager - that's why I post it here. So:
Does anyone know why a keyboard command of a window started with decoration by default (glxgears) gets passed to the console window it was started from, but a keyboard command of a window started without decoration by default (world of warcraft) doesn't get passed to the same console?
