Weird squared screen tearing on external amd gpu

My laptop is a predator g3 517 and I have an external amd gpu connecting to my monitors, trust me it works but I have issues with screen tearing and my grades. The screen tearing on my amd gpu can be seen when I drag a window and this is what it looks like on a video that is changing colors https://i.imgur.com/8DE6i5g.png

I tried commands like xrandr --output DP-2-1 --set TearFree on and creating 20-amdgpu.conf (smth similar to that) but my problem is still there, the output of  xrandr --output DP-2-1 --set TearFree on is

X Error of failed request:  BadName (named color or font does not exist)
Major opcode of failed request:  140 (RANDR)
Minor opcode of failed request:  11 (RRQueryOutputProperty)
Serial number of failed request:  70
Current serial number in output stream:  70

changing the screens refresh rate slightly helped but its nowhere damn near the solution again my laptop has an intel cpu and integrated nvidia one with external amd gpu connected to it

I am on XFCE4 and DWM
