Hello,
When running OBS as root user, i can user HW acceleration with nvenc, no issue. But by doing this i can not record the desktop audio, because is generated by the non root user desktop session(normal behavior).
I tried adding my user to the groups video, rendering, root, but it did not worked.
I installed the additional too frrom here: https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/Hardwa … celeration and vdpauinfo works from normal user while vainfo only from root (not sure if related).
I do not what else i should try. I have reinstalled the NVIDIA packages (I am using nvidia and nvidia-lts). Can't find anything else on google. I sure is a very easy issue to solve but don't know where to look..

I solved it by completely uninstalling OBS and removing any conf file and reinstalling it.
