Brave browser and using the GTK theme

Using Brave and recently switched to XFCE, I would like to use the GTK theme because it blends better with the rest of the desktop. But when I set it the minimize, full-screen, close buttons are too far out, making the close button go outside of the browser window. Also there appears to be some sort of a border around it.

If anyone has an idea on how to get this fixed or point me in the right direction it would be greatly appreciated.

Edit: I know there is also use system titlebar and borders but that brings the titlebar above the tabs and that takes up space.
