Login Screen Dims During Boot

Hi yall,

I am using Arch on my Asus Vivo Book laptop for over a year now and I am extremely satisfied, because Arch allows a lot of tinkering and that is what I like. And even I am not a professional programmer, I like to look at and write some code every now and then.

A couple weeks ago I did a clean Arch install with the Deepin DE as a default desktop and everything worked as expected. Then I also also installed the Enlightenment and Unityx desktops (using the former as a daily driver).

The system works smoothly, but I just experience a desktop dimming during boot. The problem started after installing Enlightenment.

The screen starts with full brightness at boot and halfway through it drops to about 40%. The brightness is just sufficient to enter the password at the login screen with my glasses on.

After logging in, the screen brightness automatically return to full.  When logging out, the screen also maintains its full brightness and doesn't dim.

The only thread I found was this from 2011, and it didn't help. https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=180962

Any ideas?
