Cant Boot

I did a pacman -Syu an hour ago, and now when i restart, i see Lilo, i select arch and all i see is the dots, and then nothing happens
does anyone know what it can be?

you missed to run lilo after a kernel update?

yes, i did forget to run lilo
how would i fix it though? because i booted up a live cd, mounted my / and chrooted into it, and i couldnt run lilo, it gave me an error

architecture? what livecd? what error? there's a nice wiki section for rescue broken bootloaders.

i dunno anything about lilo ..
but you could just chroot into arch ...

mount /dev/archpart /arch
chroot /arch bash ... (it might be bash /arch, sorry can't remember) ..
then run lilo,

might i just attempt to convert u to grub?
lol, if u used grub, u could simly press 'e' at the boot menu and edit teh options, ....... maybe lilo has something like this , maybe not.. come to grub anyway lol

k problem fixed, i booted into my arch setup through the arch installation cd with the no initrd option,and i ran lilo, and everythings fixed, thanks for the help everyone
