[Solved] Screen turns off after/while boot

I downloaded a arch iso on friday, with which I
installed the system, I can boot into the system,
the login screen comes up but after a short amount of time
(about the time I need to type in "root")
the screen goes black. (Backlight turns off; it kinda feels like it wants to show something because it sometimes flickers on)

I thought, that maybe I did something wrong
so I tried the archinstall script but it did not change the outcome.
So I thought maybe something has changed and downloaded a
new iso just now and I can't boot it, with the same problem
(screen goes dark while/after booting I can't really tell, as there
ofc is no login prompt)

I am tbh. not sure if this a issue with installing arch as it now occures
on the new iso as well, or just some package that was updated
between the time the first iso (2022.09.03) and last iso (2022.10.01)
and broke something.

The laptop I am trying to install it on is a Thinkpad P14s gen3
(Idk if that is important)

EDIT:
It is not *always* impossible to boot the new iso. I was able to start it
and installed arch from there, but the results are the same: boots to login and then goes black.

UPDATE:
The problem really seems to be related to backlight, as external displays work now (after a firmware update)
so I can actually login and do stuff, even if I don't see it

UPDATE:
An update seemed to have fixed it now...
