[SOLVED] Linux 6 and linux-zen 6

Installing after a complete removal, or upgrading from 5.19.12 fails to build modules (dkms).

The affected modules include (but not restricted to) nvidia, v4l2, acpi_call,

All fail with error code 10.

I had a similar problem when I tried to build my own, but figured it was my own configuring that was wrong.

To get back to a clean system, I had to uninstall V6 and then reinstall from scratch.

Did you preserve the make.log from one of failed module builds?

All that says is that the kernel modules isn't there. As loqs said, we need the dkms build log if you have the same issue.

I fixed my problem by uninstalling the kernel (and the 6.0.0-arch) leaving just the lts kernel intact. Then I deleted /usr/lib/modules/6.0*

After that, reinstalled and everything went according to plan. Unfortunately, I didn't preserve the logs, but in the circumstances, I'm marking as solved here. @gilvbp - perhaps try the same. It won't do any harm if the kernel isn't working anyway.
