[SOLVED] Arch doesn't load: "firmware patch file not found"

When turning on my laptop (dell xps-13) and lunching arch (the only OS I have) I get the following error:

Then nothing happens, but pressing the laptop's power button starts the normal arch shutdown procedure.

I have zero idea where to even begin, and would appreciate any help.

Try Ctrl+Alt+F2 to switch to another console if that fails Change the default target to boot into from the bootloader to multi-user.target so that GDM does not start.
Then post the journal for a boot with the issue to a pastebin from the console.

So I ran a full update via pacman -Syyu and everything now works well. Hooray!
