When I booted up my new arch installation for the third time today I started writing in my username when I noticed that the keys on the keyboard did not match at all what was being written. For example, when I press the h-key that is interpreted as the return key. So I am unable to login to linux. I can chroot into my installation via a usb but I don't know what I have to do to fix it. I tried using a different keyboard but it seems the issue is with arch. Thank you in advance.

I reinstalled arch but what do you think was the issue? I had set the keymap to mac-se but the return key wouldn't change because of that right?

Well, let's say I was dumb enough to type "loadekys mac-se" into a terminal and after 15 minutes pushed the power button…
