Refind / Archlinux icon

Hello,

i have a small problem with refind on my system. I explain:

I use refind to boot on my linux system.
I use ArchLinux and KDE Neon.

Both are well detected by refind, i can boot on them.

On refind screen on startup, the icon of KDE NEON show up well, but Archlinux icon is bad and show up a generic penguin.

I use this theme for refind : https://github.com/evanpurkhiser/rEFInd-minimal

In the directory of this theme, an icon for archlinux is present but not used.

Someone can help me?

Re: Refind / Archlinux icon

For automatically detected kernels (i.e. not manual boot stanzas), rEFInd should detect Arch by looking at /etc/os-release unless your / and /boot are on separate partitions.
See the tip in https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/rEFInd … _by_rEFInd and its linked https://www.rodsbooks.com/refind/configfile.html#icons .
