So I was wondering whether it was a hardware failure ? Or maybe just some firmware bug ? Should I be alarmed ?
In case of a possible hardware failure, from which device would it come from ? Motherboard, CPU, memory, ... ?

Afaik there was some regression in the thunderbolt stack, and the relevant "failure" would be coming from there. If you do not use thunderbolt actively I'd just ignore it for now

@Scriptor, I'm seeing these pcie bus errors running 6.2.12-arch1-1 kernel on a Thinkpad P1 Gen5 when using a Thunderbolt 3 10G NIC. On cold boot, the device/network works fine,but after some use it eventually breaks, and i see these errors recently in the journal.
Did you have any resolution to this or have any new info?
I found [this seemingly relevant kernel bug/fix](https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+sour … ug/1990272), which @frederick zhang says he bbackported into arch back in November, so perhaps this is a regression or a different issue?
