rtorrent failing

Since some of the last pacman upgrades rtorrent started to behave strangely, after downloading a file, when hash check is performed, rtorrent  displays :
bad CRC check consider using 'safe_sync'

while safe_sync = yes is explicity declared in .rtorrent.cf
this didnt happen before

yes, it looks thats the problem... I was using rtorrent 0.6.3, I upgraded to the latest version, 0.6.4, but apparently it has the same problem, I hope this gets fixed soon (kernel o libtorrent) because its a very important program for all of us

Failed chunks with kernel 2.6.19
Linux version 2.6.19 appears to have a bug in the synching of mmapped files, leading to large numbers of failed chunks when downloading a torrent. Using rTorrent with kernel 2.6.19 is not recommended, but if an earlier kernel version is not an option, make sure to enable the "check_hash" option and manually restart torrents until all chunks pass the hash check.

Thanks. Any idea how to apply this patch, or it should be better to wait for the next kernel release?

I knew how to patch in my Gentoo days, but don't even want to think about it now, sry
2.6.20-rc3 already has the fix: http://kerneltrap.org/node/7529

This problem is still alive for me, how can this be? Installed Arch about two weeks ago, so it should all be quite recent packages installed.
