I have been having battery issues on my Star LabTop MKIII, sometimes when the battery is around 20% 25% it shuts down as it was 0%. I turn it on again it shows pre previous % then goes to 8 or 4% and shuts down again.
I installed TLP and ask my pc vender about something I could do about, they told me to disconnect the battery for around 60s then plugging in again and that after 5 cycle it would have the effect. It got better for a while shutting down around 4%, but still shutting like an energy cut, not like when 0 and the pc recognizes that and shut it down properly.
Recently I installed upower, and things got worse, yesterday it shut down at around 52%. So I thought about asking here for calibration if it may help. I am not sure what logs to provide, so please ask me if necessary.

You could try these steps:
Unplug the Power Cord
Turn ON your PC and immediately go into UEFI/BIOS Settings Screen
Let it turned on as-is (inside UEFI/BIOS Settings Screen) to completely drain all of your battery's capacity (full 100% discharge)
Once the computer turns off, leave it alone for some hours (preferably all overnight)
Repeat - once - the steps 2., 3., 4.
If possible: remove the battery, let it rest for some minutes and then re-insert the battery
Do NOT turn on your computer
Plug-in the Power Cord
Let the battery to completely full recharge itself preferably all overnight
Turn ON your computer and boot into Arch
Check again the last full capacity value reported in # acpi -bi

Letting the laptop on with the BIOS screen until the battery is dead solved it.
