I'm using i3wm as my window manager (usually on tty 2) and gdm as my login manager (on tty 1). The issue is when I plug or unplug HDMI or DP, the displayed TTY switches automatically and unexpectedly to TTY 1 on the login screen.
I have to manually switch to TTY 2 to get back my wm.
I'd like this not to happen but couldn't find a solution on the internet. Thanks
