I have an line6 pod studio UX2 sound card interface. It is an USB sound card.
Actually, Line6 toneport UX2 and pod studio UX2 are thought the same hardware by people, line6 just rename it to a new name "pod studio UX2".
Three kernels installed in my system:
linux-rt-bfq-dev 5.18.rt11-17
linux-rt 6.0.5.14.realtime1-2
linux 6.0.11-arch1-1
This UX2 and kernels works fine with my old laptop , with intel Gemini Lake CPU J4125.
Recently I got a new laptop with intel Jasper Lake CPU Celeron N5100, I backup and restore my linux system to the new laptop. boot it up, plug in the UX2 sound card. It recognized the sound card. alsamixer can find it.
But, when I play music through this UX2 sound card, the sound's speed is slower down than normal, and sound crackles, become to distortion.
I tried use cadence or qjackctl to start jackd. The jackd can be started. But the xruns number increase insanely. the sound's is also slow down, crackles and distortion. whatever I play the mp3 music file or plug in guitar/instrument to the sound card to play music/sound, the sound is just distortion.
I tried set cpu governor to performance, it doesn't help.
I tried all three kernels, they are all sound distortion.
