Yesterday I permanently mounted a new drive to my Linux system and set a folder within it as the download folder for Steam. The drive is shared with windows as it's mostly data files, however my main drive is rather small so decided to put my games on there as well. Worked fined but after rebooting I couldn't install games anymore as it throws a Disk Write Error.
Drive:
After looking a bit into it the ownership of the drive, it is owned but user and group root. Which makes sense, I think. and in Access Permission, others can view and modify contents so I'm unsure where the problem is.
The fstab entry is as following:
/dev/sdc2 /mnt ntfs defaults 1 2
Maybe the issue is where it's mounted however I wanted the drive to be accessible to other users of this pc.

Are you dual-booting with Windows?
Yes, the drive is shared between both os since it's mostly basic data files.
