LMMS isn't launching

I'm not sure what's up with it, but for some reason LMMS doesn't want to open. When I use it in a terminal it gives this:

$ lmms
*** WEAK-JACK: initializing
*** WEAK-JACK: OK. (0)
Notice: could not set realtime priority.
Cannot load library /usr/lib/lmms/libcarlabase.so: (libcarla_native-plugin.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory)
Cannot load library /usr/lib/lmms/libcarlapatchbay.so: (libcarlabase.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory)
Cannot load library /usr/lib/lmms/libcarlarack.so: (libcarlabase.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory)
Segmentation fault (core dumped)

However I think all the files it's looking for are here anyway

I'm thinking it's some kind of permission issue but I'm not sure.

libcarla_native-plugin.so is probably the missing file .

$ pacman -F libcarla_native-plugin.so
community/carla 2.5.2-1 (pro-audio)
    usr/lib/carla/libcarla_native-plugin.so
    usr/lib/lv2/carla.lv2/libcarla_native-plugin.so
    usr/lib/vst/carla.vst/libcarla_native-plugin.so
$ 

carla is a makedepend for llms but not listed as depend or optdepend.
Is carla installed on your system ?

I had the same error as OP. After I installed carla it segfaults without the carla messages:

% lmms
*** WEAK-JACK: initializing
*** WEAK-JACK: OK. (0)
Notice: could not set realtime priority.
[1]    104578 segmentation fault (core dumped)  lmms

I have version 5.101.0-1 of kwidgetsaddons.
