Is there a way to show only critical notifications with dunst? I only can disable dunst notifications completely but I'd like to have a mode where critical ones are still shown.

https://man.archlinux.org/man/dunst.5.en#RULES and look for "skip_display"
Ftr, I strongly suspect that this is an xy-problem and you want to hide a specific nuisance?
In that case you probably don't want to filter by urgency and you don't have to.

Thanks for your reply.
I think I wasn't clear enough, or I don't understand how the mentioned filtering works: I want this filter to be toggled. My normal mode is that I want to receive every notification, but when I toggle the filter, everything except critical notifications (mainly critical low battery level) should be shown. This would be helpful for example when presenting something to others.
The filtering mentioned in the manual seems to be applied as soon as dunst is launched, isn't it?
EDIT: I guess I could restart dunst with a different config everytime I switch between 'privacy' and 'normal' mode. Thanks for the pointer!
