BinauralDecoder standalone (from iempluginsuite) produces no sound

Hi, The standalone BinauralDecoder from the iempluginsuite package produces no sound and when the audio settings are set to JACK with the "Feedback loop: mute audio input" checkbox selected, the GUI shows "INPUT MUTED" in red. I am sending the BinauralDecoder a 2nd order ambisonic signal with connections made in Pipewire. The VST plugin version in Ardour does however work with the same routing.

Any clues?
