KiCAD crashes upon calling 3DViewer

Does anyone faces crashes with KiCAD and the 3Dviewer? Even on empty boards?

Nope.  Seems to run just fine on Sway with Intel graphics.

What mesa version do you have. The issue occurs with mesa-22.3+. With mesa-22.2.4 it seems to be OK.

Edit: Just tested it with i3wm and  Xorg.  Works okay in that environment in addition to Sway/Wayland.

Seems to work fine here also. Xfce

$ pacman -Q mesa
mesa 22.3.1-1

I could be related with radeon GPUs. Other people on Arch and Manjaro face the same issue.  I opened a bug report.

mesa_glthread=false seems to address it.
