How to disable the automatic suspend message

Hi,

I deactivated powermanagement savings like the wiki told me to on https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/Power_management. In addition I uncommented the lines IdleAction=Ignore and StopIdleSessionSec=Infinity in /etc/systemd/logind.conf . But it keeps showing me the message that the system will go to suspend soon. I mean nothing happens since it is deactivated, but how do I get rid of the message for it? anyone knows? I am using gnome desktop. thx for help kind regards

Re: How to disable the automatic suspend message

That's an impressively vague OP. Does https://askubuntu.com/questions/1014965 … ctivity-ho help? If it doesn't then at least tell us which desktop you're using and also provide a link for these mysterious ArchWiki instructions to which you refer.

Re: How to disable the automatic suspend message

In the thread of Ubuntu they have more options as I do I only have the option to turn off the screen after x mins which I deactivated. SO I don't know why it keeps showing me the suspend msg edit

the gsettings key was still set to suspend i changed it to nothing hope it does the trick

gsettings set org.gnome.settings-daemon.plugins.power sleep-inactive-ac-type 'nothing'
