Becoming a Arch Linux Developer on RISC-V

Hi,

I would like to get some reference to becoming to participate at the community especially i would like to be part of development on RISC-V architecture. So How to be a Arch Linux Developer, which skill especially I need for RISC-V, some kernel development? I would like to be a professionnal, i'm self taught system engineer, i know toolchain on C/C++ , i use Arch now more of 10 years and RISC-V project is a good opportunity to be professionnal.

Do you know main people or mentoring on the project? My objectif is to develop on the new board SBC Sipeed Lichee Pi 4A LM4A.

Re: Becoming a Arch Linux Developer on RISC-V

Hi!
I'm currently working on my Bachelor's Thesis about testing RISC-V processors on FPGAs. I know that Krste Asanović and David A. Patterson from Electrical Engineering and Computer Sciences University of California at Berkeley came up with the idea of openISA RISC-V.
Just wanted to let you know, sorry if it doesn't directly answer your question. I would also love to know more about becoming an Arch Linux dev on RISC-V.

You probably will want to put some feelers out at Arch Linux ARM.   Yeah, ARM is not RISC, but that is where the embedded guys are likely to be.
