When I run
$ pacman -Sy
It gives me this:

First off, *don't* run pacman -Sy on its own; this will lead to partial upgrades if followed up by pacman -S without having run pacman -Su beforehand, which can wreck havoc on your system. It's also unsupported.
Pacman also more or less tells you exactly what's wrong; you haven't configured any mirrors. You need to actually uncomment the ones you want to use in your mirrorlist. Which to me also begs the question: how did you install Arch?
