anyone else having this problem? i enter the form data and password, a dialog comes up asking me whether to remember the pw or not, i select Remember, then next time it's a blank form again.
i have "remember passwords" selected in the preferences, accept all cookies, and i tried moving the ~/.gnome2/epiphany directory. nothing works. any ideas?

It forgets every passwaords ? Because mine just forgets some in special conditions ?

what conditions?
it seems to be not saving any of them. the user name/pw forms are always blank every time i restart.

Have you install gnome-keyring and gnome-keyring-manager installed ?
Do they work with other program like nautilus or Networkmanager ?

i think you might be on the right track. i had gnome-keyring, but not the keyring-manager. when i installed and tried to run the manager, it said the keyring daemon wasn't running, i guess b/c i don't run gnome. how do i start the daemon w/ xfce4?
edit - okay i found it in /opt/gnome/bin, but when i run it, the keyring-manager still says it's not running. :?:

Maybe you have to create the default wallet ?

i've got the same problem but only with a couple sites. AUR forgets the password everytime i restart the browser however the arch forums have never caused a problem. I've had my history wiped on occasion too.
Any have the problem on aur? If so maybe we can pin point the problem here...

Yes, I have this with AUR only, and only in Epiphany.

I have come accross a solution thanks to bug 327005.
If you edit your /home/$USER/.gnome2/epiphany/mozilla/epiphany/prefs.js file and add the following lines to the end of the file, your password manager *should* work again:
user_pref("signon.rememberSignons", true);
user_pref("signon.expireMasterPassword", false);
user_pref("signon.SignonFileName", "signons.txt");

Great !

Adding that to the prefs.js file worked?
Offline
It worked fine here, the only problem is that the file keeps getting reset every now and then and I need to re-add the lines to get it to work again, It's really just an ugly workaround.

Hmm, those prefs are set from epiphany already.
What happens is that xulrunner and the password manager get started before epiphany can set the prefs, which means the password manager will ignore the file specified as signon file. Try to add it to /opt/mozilla/lib/xulrunner/defaults/pref/xulrunner.js, if that one works out I'll add it to the next xulrunner rebuild.

in the settings submenu from xfce's main menu, you can choose "Sessions and Startup Settings". Change to the Advanced tab and check "Launch Gnome services on startup" and gnome-keyring will work fine.

Adding the lines to that file worked for me. (Of course, without the 'user_' in each line that is)

This worked great for me, too.
