[solved] Krita not showing any file in Open Images window

The window screen is completely devoid of files, only directories are shown.

Also under "filter" there are no file extensions shown at all.

The only way I can open files like jpeg or png are via drag & drop.

I tried installing Krita versions from the last year and same happened. This leads me to believe it's not Krita itself actually, but something that is responsible for showing and displaying of files and extensions. It's the first and only program in KDE/Arch that is behaving like this.

Re: [solved] Krita not showing any file in Open Images window

Turning off "Enable native dialogue" in Config/misc. in Krita solves this. But I'm still puzzled why this happens, as Dolphin works perfectly and it's KDE, a native DE for Krita.

Also wonder if anyone else experienced this, since this option is turned on by default. Yet krita itself explicitly states that if this setting is behaving oddly, it should NOT be reported to them as a bug.
