Matebook 14 AMD (2020) headset microphone not working (Solved)

The official wiki page (https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/Huawei … AMD_(2020)) says that in order for the headset microphone to work, you need to add these lines to the /etc/modprobe.d/alsa-base.conf file:

options snd-hda-intel index=0 model=alc255-acer,dell-headset-multi

but after one of the latest updates, this method does not work. I found solution. Just replace the lines above with this:

options snd-hda-intel index=0 model=headset-mic,alc255-acer

and reboot. It helped me.

I just wanted to share the solution to the problem with the forum members :)
