Hello!
I have an AMD RX 7900 XTX and Steam won't be hardware accelerated until I have lib32-mesa installed and compiled against lib32-llvm version 15+. I tried installing lib32-llvm-git and after a while it completes compilation and starts running tests. Apparently, all times I tried some tests fail (in the check() phase) and I cannot finish the installation. I really need to have hardware acceleration for 32-bit applications but the only way is to have mesa compiled against llvm version 15+ and its binary package is not up to date yet.
Thanks! ![]()

You'll find 15.0.6-1 version in Multilib-Staging repo.

According to the wiki one should never enable staging repositories.

That is true, but being in staging means that rebuilds are happening and it should hit the testing repos soon.
Edit: see https://archlinux.org/todo/llvm-15/

Good to know that! I'll wait for it to land the testing repos then, although if there is any way to install the current git package without testing I'd love to know a bout it!

man makepkgHint : the option you need starts with "no" .
Disliking systemd intensely, but not satisfied with alternatives so focusing on taming systemd.
clean chroot building not flexible enough ?
Try clean chroot manager by graysky
