Hi there,
If anyone is able to help me with this I'll be in your debt forever!
I tried to install flatpak on my laptop
sudo pacman -S flatpak
It failed, then sudo & pacman stopped working
pacman: error while loading shared libraries: libcrypto.so.1.1: cannot open shared object file: no such file or directory
sudo: error while loading shared libraries: libcrypto.so.1.1: cannot open shared object file: no such file or directory
I've read everything I can find about the error but can't seem to get around it
Currently I've got an arch installation USB in the laptop, I've mounted and arch-chrooted into it but still hit the error when I try to pacman -Syu
Any ideas?
Greg

Boot into your actual ArchLinux installation and then execute -Syu through Pacman Static. See here: https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/Pacman … man-static

isn't the entire story.
Don't run partial updates.

Have you managed to fix your problem yet?
If not go and have a look here, it appears to be a similar problem that the original poster had, hopefully some of the answers can help you.
