I just finished a PKGBUILD for this and am compiling/testing it right now.  I did have to disable MMX support though since the version of automake that we use is too modern (see  http://wiki.inkscape.org/wiki/index.php/CompilingMacOsX for details).  I left all the other options the same as Tobias's official package.  Once it has been tested, I'll upload it to the AUR and post the address here.

I haven't gone home yet to test it, but it builds just fine and the package installs without problems.  I'll double-check to make sure it runs properly when I get home tonight, but it might be a few hours.  Here is the link to the AUR page: Inkscape-SVN in the AUR
