I just bought a refurb laptop. It boots WIn10 fine. With WIn10 installed, it will boot an external linux USB. However, when I replace the internal Win10 SSD with my Arch SSD, I can't even access BIOS. Just blank screen.
I have disabled all security setting in the BIOS. No secure boot. No quick boot. Bothe UEFI and Legacy are enabled. My drive is UEFI.
What am I doing wrong, it seems odd that the OS on a drive interferes with entering g the BIOS?
Thank you.
edit: the drive I was trying to use ins an nvme. this thinkpad only accepts SATA m.2 drives. it would not boot with the nvme installed for good reason.
