I have a NVIDIA card with 4 HDMI ports with 2 Monitors connected to ports 0 and 1 . Speakers are plugged into the monitor connected to port 0.
based on outputs of pactl: Sound output is on sink # 46 and port:hdmi-output-0
I would like to change the output port to hdmi-output-1 so I move the speakers to the other monitor.
According to manpage : set-sink-port {sink} {port}
or
pactl set-sink-port 46 hdmi-output-1
does not change anything. How do I change the sound output to be on a different HDMI output?
