After a recent package update, I'm now no longer able to open programs via the taskbar or the start menu. Alt + F2 still works, however thats kind of annoying so I'd like to be able to use my taskbar again.
When looking through journalctl, the only entry I could find thats correlated with the problem is this:
Feb 13 10:27:07 DNVICLaptop plasmashell[1260]: file:///usr/share/plasma/plasmoids/org.kde.plasma.taskmanager/contents/ui/Task.qml:433: Unable to assign [undefined] to QStringThis might be helpful, but I couldn't find anything useful from looking this up
Here's my pacman log for the update which broke the taskbar and search menu

I'm also on a laptop but I don't think that affects anything in this circumstance, but I figured I'd mention

There are some issues with the glibc bump and some potentially broken plasma configs. Try checking whether ~/.config/plasma-org.kde.plasma.desktop-appletsrc contains a bunch of garbage or moving that file out of the way so it's reset.

Yep, that was it. File was empty for some reason, deleting it fixed the issue.
