samsung nvme 980

Hello, I am wondering if I need to do something with my hardware, I heard that 980 & 990 "PRO" ssd has problems, what about ssd without "PRO" ? Do I need to do something with it ?

you can upgrade the firmware the following way, just go to Samsung and download the latest fw for your drive. note: you can upgrade the firmware while the drive is mounted and online.
- mount the downloade .iso
- unpack initrd file
- go to the extracted folder /initrd/root/fumagician
- open a terminal inside the folder and execute the fumagician binary like this ./fumagician                                                               
- go through the interactive shell and upgrade the fw, after rebooting the drive should be updated
